Retaining all the badassery she had way back in 2008, Mikoto Misaka makes a glorious return to anime. And to celebrate, J.C. Staff has upped the moemoe kawaii shit to a whole new level! Not quite sure why Mikoto is all uppity about the present, and I hope this doesn’t become a recurring thing. I prefer a cool Mikoto over a spazzy one.
I thought it was interesting that they decided to double up on the classic Mikoto-saves-the-world scene, as if we didn’t already know how cool Mikoto is. But I’ not complaining. Major points for upside-down midair railgun on a helicopter. Doesn’t get much better than that.
Happy Belated Birthday, Mikoto.

Maybe I should finish the first season. EL OH EL. Fucking fuck I’m lazy. That’s realistically not going to happen, despite how good it was turning out to be.

Railgun S1 was pretty good, but season two…. don’t watch it – it’s not worth it!! I’m only watching it because I need to!
