Epic Faces of Spring 2009

A few days back, I made this post about Ristorante Paradiso 01 – 02, claiming that Nicoletta made the best facial expression in anime.
Well, now I’m back to contest myself with a bunch of epic facial expressions from Spring 2009 anime (hover over them in case you forgot which character and which anime they’re from!). And by epic, I mean both epic win and epic fail.
I wouldn’t want a girl giving me this “ew, you’re so damn disgusting” look…
I’m not sure if Dan’s jealous, curious, or disgusted…
This had me laughing more than the joke itself!
Shoo, shoo! You know, my mouth is almost as big as your hair!
I’m not sure if this qualifies as “facial expression,” but this scene is awesome.
Ahhh, scary!
Two instances of “look at me, I’m sexy,” except the second one isn’t all that sexy (not that the first appeals to me either).
It’s scary how if you cover the angry mark on Hina’s head, it looks like she’s really happy.

But seriously, that’s one awesome facial expression.

Ristorante one was great, and my cake goes to the Hayate and 07-ghost ones. Pandora was great too for shock value.
I loved the Hayate ones too! That series really knows how to overemphasize emotions via facial expressions.
I was going to drop Pandora Hearts on episode one, but that shock value is what (creeped me out) interested me.
I’m now wondering where that gif with the removal of the angry mark comes from. That’s awesome. 😛
