…holy shit.
I got spoiler’d about the ending a month before I even knew the title of this anime, so I knew what was going to happen, but…
Justice DOES exist!
Lots of people say lots of things about Makoto.
He’s such a faggot!
He’s the biggest asshole ever.
I just want to kill him.
Good riddance!
I’m jealous.

But even with my being spoiler’d, this came as pretty extreme:
They’re high school students, for crying out loud!
No sense of realism whatsoever in this one.
On another note, I liked the incredible subtlety of a lot of the events in this anime. From the tissues in the trashcan to Sekai gagging to the camera angle in the picture up top, so much is implied and so little is actually told right out.

Why doesn’t Sekai realize all the crap that Makoto‘s going through? Why couldn’t she just not get pregnant? Stupid, pesky females, always ruining the already-tough-enough lives of real men like Makoto…

@jersey: Bah. Kotonoha is the crazy yandere! Sekai is a loser. I’m actually not sure if she was pregnant or not, though. It’s not like Kotonoha can tell just by ripping her stomach open, since Sekai just got pregnant a few days/weeks before the end of the series… (“There’s nobody there” = ???)
@Michael Flux: I personally think Higurashi was worse. That shit was crazy.
@Zaotsu: I didn’t really rage all that much. Makoto was too big of an ass for me to rage at him. It’s like “That kind of faggotry would never exist IRL except in that shitty blog Mikotoism…” Yup. I laughed.

Lol Higurashi was good
Season 1 was awesome but the end made me facepalm hard.
Season 2 explained everything… but less epic than I thought.
And Rei is seriously just making more money from the Higurashi Title

YES, this.
S1 focused on horror while S2 revolved more around mystery, so it was a bit of a letdown.
HiguRei isn’t anything special at all – it’s a huge flop IMO.
