K-ON! 07: Scarves say a lot about people

Let’s go from left to right.

Plaid?  Trying to stand out, Miss Rich Eyebrows?
Look at her, she’s wearing a plaid scarf, radically different from the scarves of those other folks in the picture… as if her monsterbrows and oddly colored hair aren’t strange enough!

As if episode six wasn’t enough, this episode presents us with an even more blatant cry of “MIO IS FOR THE FANS!!”

Can there be a more obvious phallic symbol than the scarf that Mio dons in this picture?  And two, no less!

The end of this goddess’s scarf resembles a fist, symbolizing the power she actually wields over the other characters and the series in general.  In other words, Ritsu owns everybody and doesn’t afraid of anything.

Nodoka, that reliable student council member… she has flowing stripes on her green scarf.  These stripes are parallel to one another, representing the order in Nodoka’s actions and her status as a council member.

Yui has a face on her scarf.

Not only is she a carbon copy of Tsukasa, but Yui also has to steal ideas from other anime.  Her scarf, with its face, resembles quite a few “living” belts/scarves…
