I don’t understand how Ohsugi types a cry for help, or how he gets to a forum in the first place. Aren’t his hands tied?

Being able to navigate the cell phone and send text messages all without seeing the screen or keypad is an essential skill for the modern Japanese, just on the off chance that a psycho ties one’s hands up and threatens to cut off an important body part …
“…an important body part…” – you mean one part is more important then another? :p

Well, I’ve read it from the board.
All new Japanese mobile phones have an ability to post messages and pictures directly to the mobile owner’s blog. So it be very very easy for Osugi to do that.
