Minorin ~ Noe
Posted: March 24, 2009 Filed under: Uncategorized 3 Comments »It’s true!
Moe is to moe as Minorin is to Noe (unintentional rhyme right there).
Seriously, just take a look at their personalities…
Noe is eccentric and kawaii. Minorin is eccentric and kawaii.
Minorin’s not being honest with herself, and neither was Noe.
They both like high places, perhaps reflecting their “I’m higher than you” feminist views!
They both like to huddle up!
Plus Noe’s constant theme of “trying to find tears” to replace the ones she can’t shed after her grandmother’s death is comparable to Minorin’s decision to not cry.
Minorin pushes her friend Taiga forward and lets Ryuuji be with the person he’s wanted all along…
…and Shin’ichiro tells Noe that the one he loves the most is Hiromi (in a slightly controversial ending, might I add…)
They’ve both got their own songs going on too!
In conclusion, Minorin = Noe.
Thank you for posting this! I thought I was the only one seeing the similarities between them two; thank god I’m wrong. Indeed Minorin = Noe.
Let’s that a little further. There was one thing I noticed as to why I was attracted to Toradora right from the start, not to mention True Tears was still fresh in my mind. That’s because Toradora is actually a True Tears line up (two guys, three girls). ^_^
Yeah, I watched True Tears at around episode 10 of ToraDora! (not too sure), and I’ve been noticing weird similarities ever since!
I think the True Tears style lineup is pretty weird, really. It made Ai-chan almost insignificant… just like how Ami plays a more minor role in ToraDora! than Minorin or Taiga!
Wait, so if ToraDora! is similar to True Tears… then… AmixKitamura?!
heheh. It’d be interesting though.
