Everest is tall. \u00a0There is so much failure here, I found myself laughing throughout the entire episode at how damn bad it was.<\/p>\n<p>The sheer amount of illogical reasoning and confused scenes is mind-boggling.<\/p>\n<p>In this post, I&#8217;m just going to list off the parts that&#8230;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Don&#8217;t make sense.<\/li>\n<li>Display illogical reasoning.<\/li>\n<li>Are confusing.<\/li>\n<li>1, 2, and 3 are the same thing and this is just a filler line.<\/li>\n<li>Just show incredible amounts of failure.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\">FAILURE #1: Reishin has Alzheimer&#8217;s<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-792\" src=\"http:\/\/mikoto.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/04\/snapshot20090401020620.jpg?resize=500%2C281\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" \/><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-791\" src=\"http:\/\/mikoto.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/04\/snapshot20090401020637.jpg?resize=500%2C281\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">I&#8217;m pretty sure Kuro actually means &#8220;I came here to live.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">If I&#8217;m not mistaken, Reishin killed everybody in the Holy Land except for Kuro and Yakuma.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">&#8220;You should have remained in the Pure Land&#8221; means &#8220;I&#8217;m a gigantic faggot who can&#8217;t remember that I killed everybody back home and if Kuro stayed there, it would have been pointless anyway because I destroyed the Holy Stone too.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">I know the line is for dramatic effect, but it doesn&#8217;t make sense in any way whatsoever!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\"><strong><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\">FAILURE #2: Dango Daikazoku<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[Click on the pictures to see the fail in all its glory.]<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_796\" style=\"width: 460px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/mikoto.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/04\/snapshot20090401020749.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-796\" class=\"size-full wp-image-796\" src=\"http:\/\/mikoto.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/04\/snapshot20090401020749.jpg?resize=450%2C253\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"253\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-796\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Kuro! annoying.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">I don&#8217;t really want to see a random background.<br \/>\nEven the\u00a0<em>Dragon Ball Z<\/em>\u00a0franchise, with its pretty boring fight scenes, delivered non-randomcoloredblurry backgrounds during battles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">I don&#8217;t think we really need a background that screams &#8220;HERE IS ACTION LOL&#8221; and\/or &#8220;THIS SHOWS SPEED BECAUSE BROWN ROCKS AND DARK OBJECTS ARE WHIZZING BY SO FAST THAT THEY TURN INTO A LIGHT GREEN&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">It&#8217;s completely useless, except that it saves time drawing backgrounds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\"><strong><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\">FAILURE #4: <a href=\"http:\/\/mikoto.wordpress.com\/2009\/03\/22\/to-aru-majutsu-no-index-24-final-verdict-on-index\/\">Let&#8217;s all <\/a><\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/mikoto.wordpress.com\/2009\/03\/22\/to-aru-majutsu-no-index-24-final-verdict-on-index\/\" target=\"_blank\">pull a Touma<\/a><\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\">!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-807\" src=\"http:\/\/mikoto.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/04\/snapshot20090401021050.jpg?resize=500%2C281\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" \/><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-808\" src=\"http:\/\/mikoto.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/04\/snapshot20090401021242.jpg?resize=500%2C281\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" \/><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-809\" src=\"http:\/\/mikoto.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/04\/snapshot20090401021253.jpg?resize=500%2C281\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">So Touma of <em>Index<\/em> was infamous for giving random speeches full of meaningless crap (aka &#8220;FRIENDS R GOOD&#8221;) in the midst of battle.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">Likewise, Reishin also talks a lot during battle.<br \/>\nHonestly, I don&#8217;t think anybody wants to hear Reishin lecturing Kuro on how to treat Keita in the middle of a battle.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">Not only is it annoying (why again do characters talk during battle and delay the action?), but it&#8217;s also confusing and illogical.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">Reishin is the <em>enemy<\/em>. \u00a0 That means he&#8217;s the <strong>bad guy<\/strong>.<br \/>\nKuro wants to <em>kill <\/em>the bad guy, and Reishin even says that he won&#8217;t hold back.<br \/>\nTherefore, they both want to kill each other, correct?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">This implies that they would not try and help the other gain an advantage, right?<br \/>\nGiving advice to the other side is essentially the same thing as helping the enemy, right?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">Combine all of this, and you get:<br \/>\nVillains should not give advice to the protagonists.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">So does <em>Kurokami<\/em> 12 follow this? \u00a0Hell no!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-806\" src=\"http:\/\/mikoto.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/04\/snapshot20090401021322.jpg?resize=500%2C281\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">After a few minutes of careful consideration and lots of yapping, Reishin finally decides that a melodramatic line by Keita automatically registers the douchebag as &#8220;heroic&#8221; and beyond his original title of &#8220;half-wit.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">What does this mean?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">Well it means either that Reishin is a good guy and likes Kuro or that he is a complete madman who doesn&#8217;t know what the hell he&#8217;s talking about, or even why he&#8217;s talking about it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\"><strong><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\">FAILURE #5: <a href=\"http:\/\/mikoto.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/04\/314388943_6473f883d5_o.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">Jump off a ledge and drift to the ground<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-812\" src=\"http:\/\/mikoto.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/04\/snapshot200904010228421.jpg?resize=500%2C281\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">In the <a href=\"http:\/\/mikoto.wordpress.com\/2009\/03\/30\/akikan-12-final-verdict-on-akikan\/\" target=\"_blank\">same mindset as <\/a><em><a href=\"http:\/\/mikoto.wordpress.com\/2009\/03\/30\/akikan-12-final-verdict-on-akikan\/\" target=\"_blank\">Akikan!<\/a><\/em>, <em>Kurokami<\/em> also pulls off a &#8220;this-defies-the-laws-of-physics&#8221; scene worthy of the title &#8220;epic failure.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">When Kuraki is talking to Reishin, he is standing on top of the dome (sadly, I do not have a screenshot of this). \u00a0As Kuraki is doing his speech, the camera goes away from him, and then to the scene above ^.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">As you can see, Kuraki is standing inside of the dome.<br \/>\nYes, Kuraki.<br \/>\nYes, inside the dome.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">Now Kuraki ain&#8217;t got no Cucco here, so how did he manage to get down from the top of the dome?<br \/>\nThe top of the dome is probably at least 100 &#8211; 200 feet high, and Kuraki seems to be physically unharmed, so a <span style=\"text-decoration:line-through;\">suicide attempt after seeing how bad the rest of this episode was<\/span> jump from the top of the dome can be ruled out.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">The only thing I can say is &#8220;wow,&#8221; really.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\"><strong><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\">FAILURE #6: Pointless poses are pointless.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-813\" src=\"http:\/\/mikoto.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/04\/snapshot20090401021650.jpg?resize=500%2C281\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">Steiner punches his fists together, a classic animeesque display of strength.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">&#8230;and then he stays like that. \u00a0For more than just a couple frames.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">So what makes this pose so valuable to the success of the Synchro?<br \/>\nAbsolutely nothing. \u00a0It is useless, it looks retarded, and&#8230; well, it&#8217;s useless.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-814\" src=\"http:\/\/mikoto.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/04\/snapshot20090401022426.jpg?resize=500%2C281\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">Yakuma somehow manages to end up looking like this after owning all those mysterious men in black suits.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">I can understand how his left arm ended up like that &#8211; he punched somebody.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">So how did his right arm end up going up?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">Even if this is an anime and battle scenes occur in alternate dimensions with blurry lines in the background, enemies do not come flying from directly above. \u00a0Since all of the enemies are wiped out, there is no possibility that Yakuma&#8217;s right arm was blocking a hit to the back of his head either.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">Yakuma wasn&#8217;t punching somebody flying at his head from above, and neither was he blocking a hit.<br \/>\nBasically, the arm is there for no apparent reason, and Yakuma&#8217;s just showing off his BO or something.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\"><strong><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\">FAILURES #7, 8, 9, &#8230; n&#8230;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">This entire episode was jam-packed with failure. \u00a0I thought I had seen it all with the passage of <em>Akikan!<\/em> 12, but <em>Kurokami<\/em> 12 was just as bad as the final episode of Melo-melo&#8230;
