Well, I haven’t been exactly blogging this series, but here’s my views on the last episode and the anime in general anyway.<\/p>\n

Also, CLANNAD’s Final Verdict is still pending (it’s a lot harder to type up than this, so I present to you this junkpost for the time being).<\/p>\n

I think the explanation for Torigaya’s strange physical changes was intended, but ultimately ended up being thrown out with a rough draft on accident.<\/p>\n

I have no idea what the hell is going on with him. >_><\/p>\n

So basically, this episode can be summed up in one word: wat?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

WAT.<\/p>\n

That’s my opinion on this episode.<\/p>\n

Now, this wat isn’t just derived from the WTFTorigaya\/Washizu subplot, but that is really bizzare nonetheless.<\/p>\n

It mostly comes from the villains.<\/p>\n

Now, why does Mr. “I thought she remembered some insignificant comment that I said over ten years ago” suddenly turn into Mr. “I realize the value of fighting” right after Yoichi says his already-repeated-in-every-other-episode-line?<\/p>\n

I DON’T KNOW, and frankly, I don’t think I want to know.<\/p>\n

Oh, and another thing: Why did this retard think that he had to become physically stronger in order to marry Ibuki?
\nBecause she was stronger, right? \u00a0He was a chauvinist pig asshole at what, five?<\/p>\n

Speaking of which, this guy’s about the same age as Ibuki, so shouldn’t he and his sister be in school? >_>;<\/p>\n

CHIBITALIA?! NOT MORE FAIL, PLEASE!<\/p><\/div>\n

Well, this series hasn’t been a very good one overall.<\/p>\n

There was the monster-of-the-week type of plot (or rather, enemy-of-the-week*), and there were some pretty stereotypical…<\/p>\n

      2. Reused “tropical island paradise” premise<\/li>\n
      3. Yoichi’s reused speech<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      4. Etc.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Basically, all I saw was an ecchified, less epic combination of Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu<\/em> and the stereotypical harem anime.<\/p>\n

        True, there were some really awesome moments<\/a> (“JEEEESUS” and “OH MY GOD” too)…
        \nBut that doesn’t keep me from delivering a final score of<\/p>\n
