FAIL-O-METER<\/span><\/strong>
\nHonestly, the worst episode of anime since… well, Kurokami<\/em> 11 (which I watched yesterday, FYI). \u00a0The fail here is equivalent to the weight of three elephants<\/span>\u00a0three thousand elephants combined.<\/p>\n

\nOh wow, actually something close to art in Akika-<\/p>\n

\nI guess I spoke too soon…<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

I’ll try not to bash any more on the art of this episode (there’s quite a lot of other things I want to bash, plus the art thing is getting redundant…), though when watching the episode, it’s obvious how bad the art is.<\/p>\n

BOTAN!!?!<\/p><\/div>\n

This episode had some clearly bad animation (hence the title, but I’ll get to that later), but it also sucked in just about everything an episode of anime can possibly suck in.<\/p>\n

First, we have the art. \u00a0Self explanatory.<\/p>\n

Next, we have the story.
\nSince when did an anime like Akikan!<\/em> need a filler episode?
\nPlus that Yell fanservice was more like failservice. \u00a0A filler episode usually entails fanservice, but all I got was … *cringe*<\/p>\n

\nThird, we have the voice acting.<\/p>\n

Now, I almost never bash an anime on this, because I simply don’t notice<\/strong>.
\nBut I can’t<\/em> not pay attention to the voice acting in Akikan!<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Budoko’s voice normally sounds like chalk on a blackboard.
\nFor her to get so much screentime in an episode is hell.<\/p>\n

Yell’s voice in this episode is like a sledgehammer on a blackboard.
\nFor her to laugh like that<\/strong> ^ is both creepy and downright nasty, and for her to make weird cat noises is just as bad.<\/p>\n

My ears are bleeding.<\/p>\n

\n“Hey loser, why’d you put up two screenshots of the same thing?”\u00a0<\/p>\n

Well, they’re not the same thing.<\/p>\n

The same exact set of three books and a cushion (aka reused frames<\/em>) appears twice as Yell is in digusting mode.<\/p>\n

Why? \u00a0…WHY????<\/p>\n

\nThank god I don’t have to see your<\/a> mug<\/a> in this episode…<\/p>\n

Finally, we have the animation. \u00a0Oh God.<\/p>\n

It seems to me that lack of effort or lazy animators are all the rage in anime…
\nEither that, or I’ve never noticed that walking through doors is a normal thing to do.<\/p>\n

Excuse my lack of GIF-making skills\/will to learn such skills…<\/p>\n
