\u00a0Why do bloggers like to blog about blogging?<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1687\" style=\"width: 460px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1687\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1687\" src=\"http:\/\/mikoto.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/04\/snapshot20090328234351.jpg?resize=450%2C338\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"338\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1687\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">And I&#39;ll blog about the bloggers blogging about blogging!<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Well, there&#8217;s one easy answer and several not-so-easy ones.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Filler posts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Obviously, if you&#8217;ve nothing to blog about, blogging about blogging is a valid option. \u00a0Yep. \u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration:line-through;\">This is a filler post, by the way.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Connecting with the readership.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A lot of a blogger&#8217;s readership is comprised of other bloggers, and since this is the case, other bloggers that visit one&#8217;s site can connect to one&#8217;s blogging experiences. \u00a0Now, this isn&#8217;t to say that blogging about anime alienates the readership (on the contrary &#8211; more people can connect to something like an anime episode than to a post about blogging). \u00a0But, this is deeper than the anime connection&#8230; it&#8217;s an anime blogging connection.<\/p>\n<p>Bloggers can relate when a blogger comments on <a href=\"http:\/\/exce7ion.kokidokom.net\/2009\/04\/on-the-defense-of-episodics\u2026sort-of\u2026well-not-really\/\" target=\"_blank\">episodics vs. editorials<\/a>\u00a0(I&#8217;m not quite sure what an editorial is, come to think of it),\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/anime2.kokidokom.net\/illustration-in-aniblogging-really-neccessary.html\" target=\"_blank\">visuals to accompany posts<\/a>, or whatever dilemna, problem, or even success an aniblogger might face.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To look smart.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Obviously, if you&#8217;re blogging about blogging, then it&#8217;s assumed that you know enough about blogging to make a decent post about it (unless, of course, the post turns out to be 20 words long). \u00a0What looks even smarter is commenting on how blogging about blogging makes you look smart. \u00a0(protip: that&#8217;s me, yo)<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Obviously, there&#8217;s only really one of those three that makes any sense: the second one. \u00a0The other two are just there to make my post longer.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1690\" style=\"width: 460px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1690\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1690\" src=\"http:\/\/mikoto.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/04\/snapshot20090227160315.jpg?resize=450%2C338\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"338\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1690\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">&quot;It&#39;s not like it really matters&quot;<\/p><\/div>\n<p>So what is a post blogging about blogging?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Blogging in general &#8211; a post about shitty widgets, crappy designs, lolhtml. \u00a0I usually don&#8217;t see much of this.<\/li>\n<li>Anime blogging &#8211; a post about things related to specifically aniblogging: things like episodics: y\/n, summaries: y\/n, team blogging: y\/n, et cetera: y\/n<\/li>\n<li>Other crap that I&#8217;m too stupid to put into a category &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/kielmaru07.wordpress.com\/2009\/04\/10\/cant-think-of-a-post-for-your-blog-pt-2\/\" target=\"_blank\">what to blog about?!<\/a>, others<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h1>Y\/N?<\/h1>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1688\" src=\"http:\/\/mikoto.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/04\/snapshot20090330164455.jpg?resize=500%2C281\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So is this a good technique to use?<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;d say <em><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\">maybe<\/span><\/em>. \u00a0Personally, I wouldn&#8217;t do it. \u00a0[\/sarcasm]<\/p>\n<p>There are definite advantages to these blog-related posts. \u00a0You can release some &#8230; er. something. \u00a0You can release stuff (tension? \u00a0I&#8217;m not really sure) if you blog about blogging. \u00a0It&#8217;s like meeting an anime fan in real life: there&#8217;s so much you share in common with said fan as opposed to a person who thinks that an anime is a type of fruit. \u00a0You get to see if you&#8217;re doing the right things &#8211; if your &#8220;holy shit, this post took me 2.5 hours&#8221; post was an anomaly or same as everybody else.<\/p>\n<p>But then again, there are disadvantages. \u00a0You ain&#8217;t blogging about anime on an anime blog?
