What’s up with all of the anime nowadays with characters losing their memories?<\/p>\n

I watched three anime episodes yesterday morning, and there were “Who am I?” characters in all three of them. \u00a0It’s like some kind of disease…<\/p>\n

Taito<\/span> Teito from 07-Ghost<\/em> doesn’t remember a thing about his past, and thus plot is formed when he discovers that Mr. Blue hair is responsible for his father’s death.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Dan from Basquash <\/em>doesn’t remember his “reciprocated” loving,\u00a0bakunyuu-possessing childhood friend\/partner. \u00a0Though this may just be a result of his “I didn’t really care and I’m kind of stupid anyway” nature, it’s still some form of memory loss!<\/p>\n

Goku from Dragon Ball Kai<\/em> doesn’t remember his brother ^ Radditz ^ or his mission to destroy the Earth.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Akira from Eden of the East<\/em> doesn’t remember anything, wandering the streets of D.C. with a gun, a cell phone charged with eighty million dollars, and no clothes whatsoever.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Misao from Asura Cryin’<\/em> doesn’t even know why she’s a ghost or how she died!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Guin from Guin Saga<\/em> doesn’t even know why he looks like a leopard, why he is in the forest, or why he knows how to fight, etc.<\/p>\n

Zwei from Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~<\/em> (aka This Anime Has a Long Title<\/em>) is kidnapped after seeing Ein in action and then gets his memories wiped.<\/p>\n
